Silvus MIMO transceiver radios excel in non line of sight (NLOS) telerobotic missions in harsh urban environments. Using the breakthrough of MIMO processing, Silvus' radios allow for telerobotic operation deep into buildings, culverts and other structures at safe standoff distances where other radios fail.
The SC3500 is available in different form factor configurations to fit into a variety of robotic systems.
The requirements of a robotics mission are varied and unpredictable with regard to distance, terrain and obstacles. Silvus MIMO radios support over 300 distinct modes of operation, with the ability to automatically select the optimal configuration in real time without disruption to data communication.
Currently, Silvus is engaged in an 18 month effort with the Robotics Technology Consortium (RTC is a DoD / private partnership initiative which provides $170 million dollars for the advancement of robotics) to deliver MIMO-enabled communications links based on our industry leading radios, for NLOS robotic teleoperation missions such EOD / IED disposal.
Silvus' MIMO radios have been extensively field tested in realistic mission scenarios, demonstrating significant improvements over traditional radios. Select results are available on request.
